 It is our greatest pleasure to announce the winners of the JSTP International Prize for R & D in Precision Forging.
JSTP has chosen the following two winners:

Prof. Chung-Gil Kang (School of Mechanical Engineering, Pusan National University, Korea)

Achievement：Bulk and Sheet Forming Process Development of Semi-Solid Materials and HSS/CFRP Hybrid Composites

Prof. Takashi Ishikawa (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chubu University, Japan)

Achievement：Basic Research of Precision Forging for Net-Shape and Net-Property; Improvement of Precision in Cold Forging, Product Property Prediction in Forming

The prize will be awarded to the two winners on the occasion of the 12th International Conference on Technology of Plasticity (ICTP) to be held in Cambridge, UK from 17 – 22 September 2017. Each winner will
be presenting a special lecture at the 12th ICTP.
