Announcement of the Recipient of the 2026 JSTP International Prize for Research & Development in Precision Forming

The Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity (JSTP) is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2026 JSTP International Prize for Research & Development in Precision Forming:
Prof. Zhigang Wang (Gifu University, Japan)
Contribution: Development of advanced plate forging technology
The award ceremony and lecture will be held during the 15th International Conference on Technology of Plasticity (ICTP 2026) in Jeju, Korea, from October 11th, 2026.
In addition, the prize winner will deliver a special lecture at the 10th International Seminar on Precision Forging, scheduled to take place in Kyoto, Japan, from March 8th, 2027.
